HUB MM Turntable Benefits?

I currently have my Audio Technica turntable directly connected to the Analog 1 (3.5) input on my Powernode 2i. The turntable has an on-board pre-amp. Is there any audio benefit to adding a HUB and connecting to the “MM” RCA connectors?

  If the RIAA amplifier in the Hub is better than the amplifier in your AT, yes.
