Fixed group - Connection between them

Hi, I was wondering, once I created a group, do the players communicate directly with each other or each one is primarily connected to the network in an autonomous manner from the other. Basically, what I would like to know, is there really an advantage to connecting all the players by cable or not since the "main" communicates directly with the other with some proprietary wireless solution. Thanks

  All Players connect to the main router as your network hub. The Ethernet ports on the back are intended solely to be connected to network routers or network switches and not to each other. Bluesound Players generally are not network repeaters.
