Node 2 Bluesound External DAC and SubWoofer
BeantwortetHi there,
I have the Node 2 Bluesound . an External DAC and a SubWoofer. I have connected the Coax out to the External DAC en using currently the Sub out of th enode to the Sub Woofer.
When i set the Node setting" Output Level Fixed" ( I read is best) then I can not use the SUB as that MAx Volume is Too much . My main question is . In case I use the Volume within the Node is that output still digital to the External DAC. So is the DAC of the Node still bypassed???

Manually adjust the volume on your sub-woofer to the desired baseline volume by reviewing the sub-woofer documentation.

Thanks Tony for quick response, I trust me. the Volume is Sigal is Too much . If I turn it just a Tiny bit immediately super boomy sound. It is absolutely fine when I lower the Volume from the Node OR in case I put a mixer between the signal and the sub. I was also thinking about putting a Line Level Audio Attentuator between the sub out and line in of the Sub. it is a Klipsch R115-SW
But my question. Is there sound quality different in case I modify the volume form the node instead of Full signal and Volume form the Integrated Amp DK Design ( tube pre) ? I use the forest coax cable output fron node to the Audiolab 8200CDQ DAC

Is it true that in Order to have my External DAC do MQA files I need to set it to Fixed Output Signal?

Correct
As for attenuator or sound quality difference. It would be theoretically negligible. Trust your ears... they know best as to what sounds good or right.
