Tony, I appreciate fixes... 4.02 is a definite improvement.

Also, I did add an additional issue in my first comment about the search bar.

I am very satisfied as to how things are moving. But I guess I am lucky in that my system setup is very stable. My C368, Pulse 2i (2), and Flex 2i are all hardwired. And fortunately my NAS (MyCloud) is relatively simple (even with my 14K of albums) and has not been a problem. I have also refused to upgrade any of my systems to Windows 11 (including the NAS) which removes another variable. That being said I will not run any reindexing for the time being.

Follow-up (11/22): I have added a number of new albums and successfully run the reindex. It reindexed all 178K tracks within about 15 minutes and propagated to my other systems. And no reoccurrence of a previous issue: all album covers are appearing.

    Thanks again!

On 4.0.2, when playing a BluOS playlist one can add a song from the Library using "add next".

The "add to playlist" does not seem to work, I cannot find the added track. When selecting the target playlist the pop-up says "Add to playlist". I would expect "added to playlist" .

I can add tracks to a playlist in a previous version of the controller. (3.2.0)

I am not having indexing issues, the search function works. I am not sure if this is a new issue since I rarely want to go back and initiate a new search in the same service from Recent Searches.

But if I want to do a search, I select a music service and the most Recent Searches will display on the main screen. Then if I select one it will perform the search on the recent item correctly. Then if I click the back arrow the Home Screen displays. If I want to do an additional "recent search" in the same service, I have to use the drop down to select another service so the Recent Searches display. Then I have to select the original service from the drop down to do another recent search in that original search.

It would seem the correct behavior is I would just have to reselect the original service in the drop down to redisplay the Recent Searches. In other words, when I click the back arrow, it would be nice if I return to the recent search screen in the main display (rather than the home screen).

    Hopefully this makes sense!!!!

This is a minor issue and may actually be a feature request. It is certainly not high up on the list. Thanks

One other thing, the search logic seems to be working like it was in 3.xx. For example, I can now run a search for Roberta Sa (in any music service) using

Roberta Sa or Sa, Roberta or Roberta Sá

and all her albums are found. Nice.

...the counter is still a little bit "wonky" ;-)

I have this problem, too: "Library > Genre > Artists > ShowAll still results in a truncated list of artists (10)". I am using Mac OS Controller 4.0.2 on Mac mini running Ventura 13.6.1.

    Hi Alex

We have pushed out a number of updates to the BluOS App for Windows and macOS but we are still seeing some minor issues. This is admittedly one of them and still on our hit list too.

We do apologise for the inconvenience and it is working in iOS and Android...

Look for a newer App soon.

Volume: Scrollwheel volume does not go past 10.

    Windows App: 4.0.2 BluOS: 4.2.0

Volume works as expected, but if using the scrollwheel hovering the volume, it affects the progressbar and remaing/played time (in play now). Scrolling up/down, and the counter will follow.

    Windows app 4.0.2, BluOS 4.2.0

In Library>Genres "Show All" is still not working. Only 5 songs, 3 albums, 3 artists are shown in genre "pop" which is tagged in +1000's of tracks on my NAS.

Will there be another update for this?

Edit & update: works well in Adroid.

Minor issue. I have been trying to find in: I am not sure if it has been reported. When a service times out a window appears on the Windows Player. For example, Sirius times out at eight hours. A pop up appears and usually I can click on the X and it disappears. Now I have to close the Windows App and then open it for it to disappear.

For Mac OS controller this issue is resolved with release 4.2 which I installed yesterday (12/1/2023). ["Library > Genre > Artists > ShowAll still results in a truncated list of artists (10)"]. Thank you, Tony & Co.
