Bluesound RC1 battery drain problem

Hi,

I have the Bluesound RC1 remote that I got with my NAD M10 v2.

It worked ok for a few months, but now it seems like it drains the batteries way too fast. I have to swap batteries every 2-3 days at this point, this doesn't seem normal to me.

Anyone else had a similar issue and found out what the problem was?

  Okay, will give that a try!

  I wasn't careful when touching them, and I was using generic (IKEA) batteries as well, so one of those might be the issue.

  I'm bumping this after trying what you suggested - I still have the same problem.

  I bought a new set of Duracell CR2032 batteries, and carefully inserted them without touching them with my fingers and the remote is dead after 3 days and almost no use.

  What are my options now? Thanks.

  Same here. Using new Duracell CR2032 batteries and after a couple days the remote is dead and requires new batteries.

  Hello,
  I also have the same problem, new Duracell batteries, installed correctly, discharged in a few days without use.. what to do?

  I bought an aftermarket remote. EUR 20 no draining batteries anymore.
