USB Volume Knob for PowerNode?

Many vendors make USB-based volume knobs that work on PCs and Macs. I use one from Vaydeer. A knob is a much faster way to adjust volume, and pressing down on it mutes. These devices also offer play/stop and skip buttons. If I use my Mac's headphone jack to drive my PowerNode, the Vaydeer knob works fine, but the Mac doesn't put out much power, so I end up cranking the volume up too high on the PowerNode. Then, when I send music from my phone to it, the sound is blasting. I tried plugging the volume control into the PowerNode's USB port, but it doesn't work. Since there are so many of these volume controls on the market, and they work with multiple devices, it would be very helpful if BlueSound would create a driver to work with these controllers. Do you have one planned? You could even sell a BlueSound brand controller, which I think would be a big seller.

  Hi Seppi, There are many of these devices on the market that BlueSound could rebrand. With dozens of manufacturers making them, there must be a fairly high demand. The place where I use it the most is on Zoom sessions, where the volume of each speaker can range from very quiet to very loud. A rotary volume can jump a precise amount of volume much more quickly than a remote control or the touchscreen volume control. There are even three settings on the one I use that lets you fine-tune how much volume change you'll get from a given amount of knob rotation.

  Hi Seppi, thanks for that info. I was not aware that the remote had volume presets.
