YouTube Music support
BeantwortetBluesound is very good (I use it with my NAD C-3050), but I can not understand why such a big streeming service like YouTube Music is not supported yet. By when can the community expect to get a YouTube Music integration? Thank you for your reply

Thanks for your feedback - that is a question you should pose YouTube and Google as to when a true API will be made available and they decide to bring on more partners.
Until then, you can use Apple AirPlay in iOS or check out www.bluesound.com/bluetooth for Android and other devices.

I was wondering as SONOS and others do have the YouTube Music support integrated. Do they get access to APIs which are not accessible for you? So do Google/YouTube use their power to decide which company gets access to their APIs and which one not?

I do not expect that you speak for other organisations. I expect as a customer to get a honest answer to my question. As a programmer I do not see any technical restrictions, as other companies have integrated YTM without any problems since years.
To be honest I did not spent a lot of money for a new music Solution with Bluesound to run YTM by Bluetooth streaming. My seller confirmed that YTM can be used with Bluesound as well. He could not believe that YTM is not working with Bluesound until he got the confirmation from Bluesound.In the meanwhile I have seen, that other users face the same issue (since years) and noone got a honest answer to the question until now.
I am disappointed as a customer that I can not feel any effort from your side to get YTM integrated asap. You point out that I should ask YouTube, but sorry you should be interested to find solutions for your customers. And as a customer from a high end solution like bluesound, everybody can expect that you will find a solution to get one of the biggest music services integrated.
I will not stop until I get a honest answer.

Ok, I see that there is no API listed on this page, but I see that SONOS and others found a way to solve the issue. How have they managed it? For me it is a question of customer service. Others found a way, so bluesound should also be able so solve it. Maybe the solution would not be the ideal one but you can make your customers happy and you can point out that it is not the ideal solution and you wait for an official API.
The question of an agreement should be solvable as well.1 -
