If the bluos app is just acting as a remote control, what I'd the need to download music from Deezer. Is this step redundant or am I playing music from my phone to my connected home network? I'm confused.

  Using the Node 2i you bypass downloading Music from Deezer to other devices on your network such as computers, tablets or cell phones. You connect the Node 2i to your Deezer account from the Music Services menu on the left of the BluOS Controller and supply your Deezer account and login, the Node 2i will stream directly from Deezer or any other service you subscribe to and add in this fashion. 

  The BluOS controller is acting as a control for the Node 2i, selecting the source of the services or local files you wish to hear.
