Struggling to get Spotify working with Node 2i

I'm new to Node - just setting up have radio working normally but cannot get Spotify working on the 2i using the Android App. I go into "Music Services" find Spotify and the user only option given is to install Spotify (which is already installed on the phone). When I go ahead and try to install it fails saying "page not found". Using internet I googled a solution - uninstall Spotify first then go back to this menu and it allows you to install Spotify. But after that there doesn't seem any way of actually using it the The BluOS app

  Open the Spotify App on your phone, play some music, hit the Spotify Connect button (speaker icon) and choose your BluOS Player. See this Help Centre Article for more details; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000245288
