New to Bluesound

Hi, 

I would like to start building a Bluesound system to replace my Sonos and would like to know if I can start with Something like the Pulse Flexi 2i and then build the system from there? 

If possible am i right in assuming that I can connect the Flexi 2i to my home network via wifi or ethernet and then stream from the likes of Spotify or from my NAS? 

If I am wrong, some advice as to how to start would be appreciated.
