Pulse Flex 2 blown speaker

I have a 3-4 year old (i.e. out of warranty) Pulse Flex 2. It's a great little unit, but the speaker has recently developed a buzz. Sometimes the volume drops to barely audible, and then is fine a few minutes later. Is it possible to get this repaired? Am I better off just buying a Flex 2i?
