Problem with anything more than 24-bit/44.1kHz

Hi - I just got my Node i2 today and upgraded the code as part of the installation.

My question is regarding hi-res music above 24/44.1

No matter what I play it plays in 24/44.1. When Amazon music is telling me that the track I'm playing is 24/96/192 but my 'device capability' is only 24/44.1 and it's 'currently playing at' 24/48. 

I have tried using the internal DAC and I have tried the DAC in my Advance Paris A10 amp witch is capable of more than 24/44.1. I tried with optical and coax but no difference. 

Wonder what I'm doing wrong?!?

The Node i2 is plugged into my switch.

  I'm going to go ahead and answer my own question ... if you don' mind.

  I need to use the BluOS app on my iPhone to get quality above 24-bit/44.1kHz.
