Replacing 8x Sonos AMP - Difference Between Powernode and Powernode 2i?

I am venturing down the expensive path of finally replacing my nearly 5 figure investment is Sonos with Bluesound for all of the obvious reasons. 

I noticed that the outlet store has the OG Powernodes for $269 right now. I happen to need 8x amplified zones that are individually controlled. Can anyone tell me the real functional differences between the original Powernode and Powernode 2i? My use case is exclusively driving music from Tidal, Nugs.net, and Roon through 8ohm in ceiling B&W speakers with ethernet connectivity to each Powernode/2i. 

Does the original Powernode support the following? 

• Tidal Connect
• Nugs.net MQA
• Roon Transport through RAAT
• Audio control through a Lutron Audio Pico remote

I also have waded into the Bluseound life with an investment of 2x Node 2i. Does the original Powernode and Node 2i coexist in perfect harmony, or is there something I should be aware of?
