Low volume output from Sub+ while connected via wireless

My new Pulse Sub+ is linked to a Pulse Soundbar 2i wirelessly, and I have to set the Subwoofer Trim all the way to 10dB to approach a usable volume level, but it's not really quite enough bass output. Two days ago, while experimenting with an analog cable to hookup the Sub+, I was surprised at how strong the output was from the Sub+, I even had to adjust the Subwoofer Trim level from 10dB to 3dB, and life was good, but unfortunately not for long...The next morning the Soundbar 2i reverted to using wireless from within Settings -> Audio -> Subwoofer -> Subwoofer, the (Analog Connection) message went away by itself, and I have no way of restoring or permanently preferring the analog connection over wireless. Also, no option to "Use without Pairing" as the documentation suggests for a wired sub-woofer. Already reset everything to factory defaults, and running the latest version of code. As of now I'm stuck with a very timid Pulse Sub+...Any thoughts?

  Following advice from the support crew, I performed a factory reset on the Sub+ and was able to choose the "use without pairing option" via an analog cable. The question of why the option under Settings -> Audio -> Subwoofer -> Subwoofer, the (Analog Connection) disappears after a while was left unanswered, but I'm happy with the workaround, I'm able to squeeze higher output using the analog cable, the Sub+ now sounds more authoritative.

  I was having the same issue with very low volume from my pulse sub+ connected wirelessly to my Soundbar 2i. I spoke to support and they fixed it immediately. Open up the Audio Settings for your soundbar and adjust the volume range from "-90 - 0" to "-45-0." This will engage the sub amplifier for some reason. Instantly the sub started kicking. Tweak the bass to 5 or 6. Increase the subwoofer trim to 10. I also adjusted the crossover to 100hz. The sub sounds awesome now.

  Hi,

  thanks for sharing. But this is not a real solution. This means the soundbar can‘t get to lower volumes anymore. For me the lowest is too loud with these settings.

  This gets even more difficult if you use the Soundbar with other players in groups, for the kitchen for example. The soundbar volume slider at 1 and for the others 20/30. 

   

  We really want the subwoofer trim range the PowerNode got back after some discussions. -10 to +10 is not enough, not shure at the moment what the PowerNode has at the moment but it’s a bigger range.

  Until BluSound fixes the Soundbar audio settings software, the above is the only workaround. The alternative is a $750 brick.
