Subwoofer out still active when connected to Dac?

Hello, i was wondering is the subwoofer output still active when im using the Node 2i connected to a Dac through optical out ? So my question is when using the Node 2i using optical / Coxal out does this disable the sub out function? I would like to have node 2i connected to my Dac via optical output while having a subwoofer connected to sub output of the node2i Thank you.

  The Node 2i sends the audio signal out of the pre-outs, the digital-outs, and the subwoofer out at all times. Connecting one or the other will not disable the other outputs.

  I also use the coax digital out with the subwoofer analog out, so you are good to go.
