External HD Exfat supported ?

Hello i am preparing my next installation (allready bought the node 2i on a Black Friday offer)

I wont have WIFI before the network provider will come so I am planning to connect my music HD with 200Go of flac files and it is Exfat formated (I didn't know format would matter)

Will it work or Do I have to re format ?

I am on a Mac And If reformat is needed, Do I have to remove first the Flac files to not lose them  ?

  Node2i can read NTFS or FAT32, meaning you have to reformat your drive.
  You will lose all files on your drive while reformatting, so a backup is essential.
  
  Before you reformat, if your router has an USB port, most likely it will be able to read exFAT. Maybe setting up a share on the router is easier.
