Duplicate tracks after indexing USB drive
My set-up is a an external USB drive into the Node2i which then plays through a KEF Wireless LS50 system. The drive contains FLAC files ripped using EAC and with meta data added by MusicBrainz Picard. The drive only contains FLAC music files - nothing else. The app. is held on an iPad. Indexing works with no loss of files however when I look at some albums through the app. tracks are doubled up with two track 1's, two track 2's etc. The latest example of this is where I replaced stereo versions of some Bob Dylan albums with mono versions. That is, I deleted the stereo files from the drive completely and added the mono versions then reattached the drive and it re-indexed the drive. However, looking at say 'Highway 61 Revisted' through the app. I now have the track duplication with the first track 1. being the stereo version and the second track 1. being the mono. The Node2i seems to have 'remembered' the stereo version previously on the drive and now added the mono version. I've scanned the documentation but I can't see how this would happen. I've even tried re-setting the Node2i to factory settings and starting again without success. Any advice appreciated.

.....deleted the stereo files from the drive completely....
Meaning you (also) emptied "Recycle Bin" on the drive? -
Genius, another lesson learnt in my adventure into digital media. All good now, thank you so much. D
