Airplay+Bluetooth not as loud as tidal(connect)

If I airplay or bluetooth play music to the Soundbar 2i, its not as loud as if I use tidal connect. Its like maybe 3-5 times as loud if I use tidal connect.

Is it because of better audio quality from tidal connect that allow this, or ?

  Correct! What you are hearing is one of the many audio quality differences of lossless audio.

  Actually. I still kinda wonder about this. Volume of another BT speaker (different brand), is similar high in volume on tidal, on BT, without tidal connect.

  Hi Lasse, audio quality has nothing to do with audio level !

  I notice the same issue with my Powernodes in that some sources play at noticeably different levels for a given volume setting. Unfortunately Bluesound products don't seem to have audio source trim adjustments so you can balance the relative audio levels across the various sources.

  I see.  Its kinda sad that the normal volume, when using airplay to the soundbar is so low, compared to when playing through tidal-connect. 

  Especially taking into considerations, when using BT on the other branded speaker (much cheaper cost wise), the volume level matches the bluesound soundbar when using tidal-connect as the source...
