Every few seconds I get popping/cracking noises over my speakers
BeantwortetI have 3 bluesound speakers: 1x Pulse Soundbar 2I and 2x Pulse flex 2i. All my speakers are wired with network cables.
I have 2 routers involved; Router A is connected to the pulse soundbar and router B. Router B is connected to router A and to both pulse flex speakers.
The TV is directly connected to the soundbar via HDMI
The speakers are setup in a pre-made Home cinema group.
Im expriencing an issue while im playing either music over bluetooth or watching a movie. This specially happens or is more noticable when the movie is playing more bombaric sounds/scenes.
Every few seconds there is a popping sound going over every different speaker. Some days it's worse than others but it never leaves.
I've tried different things like playing only over the soundbar that's connected to the tv, but the issue remains.
We are on the point of that we no longer use the speakers because it's simply too anoying.
I have no idea how to troubleshoot and tackle this issue. Please reach out to me and help me resolve this.

Hi Sam,
I've done that multiple times. Although I've filled in every field; after submitting my request I still get the notification that I must supply a valid email address name and country. I dont get any confirmation via email or whatsoever that my support request has been submitted. So I dont know if you have received it or not.
Please let me know.0 -
Hi
Anything new in your case?
Í have similar audio problems. It’s just in the soundbar , when listening just to either of my Flex there is no popping sound, and when I connect again to pulse it there.
Have resets both pulse an flex and connect them again in a home cheater group, week later this annoying popp/crackling sound was back.0 -

Hi Guy
HiFi Klubben in Denmark are testing my soundbar at the moment0 -
Hi Sigfus ,
I am in contact with Tony Williamson of Bluesound and he is telling me it's my network problem that occurs the crackling sounds. I have the crackling sounds only through my Flex rear speakers.
Until now , not solved and very disappointed now . I have spent 3000 EUR for my new Bluesound system and cannot use it for watching movies ! Crackling is only in the homecinema group
Looking forward for any solution at your side

Hi Guy ( and others with similar problems)
It looks like it could be the hdmi cable between the soundbar and the tv which is causing all this . The hdmi cable has not been connected for a week and I haven’t noticed any clicking sound.
Could be interesting to know if others is experiencing the same0 -
Typically, the clicking sound is back ... so it is not the hdmi cable or my tv causing this

Same here , I thought the clicking issue was solved by switching my WiFi to channel 7 , almost a week not any clicking sound. Yesterday , a movie on Netflix and again , the clicking issue . Very annoying !!
Bluesound team ???

I deleted the homegroup and disconnected the 2 flex 2i speakers and when I turned the soundbar on again the clicking sound was gone. Next step is to try it like that for a week. If there’s no clicking sound I either send my flex speakers to my support to test them or try to borrow 2 from the store to test at home.

The noise you are hearing is caused by network packet delays - removing Homegroup from Windows is probably helping to remove additional delay so a good start.
