Multichannel options

Hey Bluesound fans,

I will have the opportunity to add 4 stereo channels to my house with speaker cables ending in the garage. I already invested (to some extend happy about it, to some others not so much) heavily into the bluesound ecosystem.

I'm wondering now what would be the better more robust option to power the speakers in the kitchen, big bathroom/spa, outdoors and office:

The monitor audio IMS-4 + a multichannel amp or four bluesound powernodes / edges? What's your view on it?

  That's a question for your ears to decide...

  But do not rule out the NAD CI580v2 and CI980 combo.

  Oh, that's a good pick, maybe good middle ground. For whatever reason, didn't consider NAD options.

  Thanks for recommending! Would you consider this a good option rather than having four powernodes (edge)? Price is same ballpark as I think the edges might be enough, though.
