N180 hotspot mode

Hi there,

I'm a manufacturer of servo loudspeakers I would like to know if I can use a N130 as a standalone player for offsite demo's without an internet connection / accesspoint (ap) available and using an attached USB drive. 

I learned that under /diagnostics there is an option called "hotspot modus", if I switch to this mode does the N130 start an AP including WLAN/DHCP allowing my smartphone to connect to it ? 

Alternative is to bring a separate AP but am looking to minimize the equipment needed to perform a demo's :-)

  A small portable Wi-Fi/Router will be enough. (Or use a second phone in hot spot mode).
  Both the player and controller needs to be on the same network.
  Hotspot mode in the player is for setup only.
