Plex support showing up on competitive streamers
I'm a huge fan of the Bluesound Node. I have two. I've convinced other friends to get it. The user experience is top-notch, and the full palette of features makes it versatile in a way that few other hifi components are. I have the luxury of being able to experiment and have a plethora of hifi components from fancy pants brands, as well as "ambiance" systems from Bluesound, Sonos, Google, and Amazon. The Bluesound Node and related products are always my strongest recommendation for friends, and the Node is the dedicated streamer on my two main listening systems.
For me, the lack of Plex support is the only blemish on what is nearly a perfect streamer. The fact that I have separate boxes to stream just Plex is a bit annoying, but it gives me access to some content I can't get from the streaming services I sub to.
Other streamers/players have been showing up on the market (at lower price points) that also include some form of Plex support. Darko, a big fan of the Node, just featured another streamer from a major brand that includes Plexamp.
I get that you have to prioritize investments, and I am just a data point of one, but I have more and more hifi friends who've been converting collections to FLAC and using Plexamp to listen to their personal collections. I realize in terms of overall numbers, there are a hell of a lot more Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Tidal, etc users out there, but at some point, many of us end up with several sources. And before you say Rune, I've used it for a while and just prefer Plexamp for *reasons*.
So... please consider Plex support.

We have no plans on the horizon to integrate Plex Server. Please see this thread for more details; https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/17980134887575

Yes I could not agree more, I think Plexamp has become the one to watch as it is always adding new features. Bluesound really should look at getting some integration like Lumin and Sonos. Having Bluesound appear as an endpoint for Plexamp would be enough.
I see this has been requested over many years in another thread

Definitely needed, I can't cope with managing multiple music libraries. I love BluOS but doesn't let me access my library remotely and play on my headphones so I need to use plex.

I completely agree. Plex integration would be the cherry on top. I would buy 2 more nodes for every place in my house if it supports plex

I totally agree. I'm actually building my system now, looking at the Node X but shaking my head as to what it doesn't support Plex?
