Pulse 2i and Local FLAC Files on Android Phone

I'm looking at the Pulse 2i and considering purchasing.  However, I am wondering the following:

I have hundreds of local hi-res flac files on my android phone.  I theory, I'd like to stream the files over to the Pulse 2i and maintain the "hi-res" quality.  SInce bluetooth doesn't meet hi-res requirements due to bandwidth limitations, I'm assuming I can do this via streaming over my home's wi-fi via the Bluesound app?  

If this assumption is correct, how is this done with the app?  Does it automatically recognize the local flac files on the phone, or do you scan for them creating a "library" of sorts within the app?  Some other way?

  Thanks for the response.  If I used a USB memory stick and plugged into the rear, would the app recognize the stick and see the songs on there, such that I could select the track using the app?  Or would I have to make the selection somehow on the pulse speaker itself?
