Controlling Powernode from Tidal iOS app if not on the same network
BeantwortetHello!
I prefer to control what Tidal plays from Tidal application, just like with Spotify.
However, it seems wihle Spotify iOS app can control what my Powernode plays (as long as Spotify was selected as music source and I select my powernode as an output in Spotify app) regardless of what network I'm on, simply based on what my account is playing, I can't accomplish the same with Tidal - my powernode simply disappears from list of output devices once I disconnect from the wifi where powrnode is.
To clarify - if I'm on the same wifi with my phone as Powernode is, I can use Tidal application to find my powernode as source and play through it. However, if I switch wifi or disable it and use mobile data on my phone, whatever I'm playing in Tidal application no longer plays from Powernode.
With Spotify, I can always play through Powernode as long as they have been paired once, regardless of the network I'm on.
I also can't seem to make a preset that would just select Tidal as a source (like I can do with Spotify), it always have to go to specific playlist or mix.
Is there a way to make it work in this scenario? Or is it a bad implementation on Tidal end and should I cry to their support?:)
