Disk Number not in Listings
BeantwortetHi
I did mention this in a previous request but it appears to have been passed by.
Bluesound state in the 'What is Metadata' article:
DISCNUMBER If using a multiple disk album, this tag can be used to identify which disk the song is from.
This doesn't appear to be the case. I have to make the ALBUM tag unique for a multi disc album otherwise it is not listed correctly - typically the first disc appears but no others. As soon as I resolve the ALBUM uniqueness issue by making ALBUM='Album Name'+'Disk N' then all disks belonging to the album are listed in BluOS.
I'd much rather that BluOS did something like
For an ALBUM of the same name and when DiscNumber is greater than 1; Index and List the album as Album + Disk Number. At the moment my tag model is forced to separate multi disk albums into individual disks - it works but its messy and I'd rather not have to go back and retag everything once this issue is resolved.
All comment on this is welcome - solutions even more so!!!

Hi Trevor
When dealing with Box Sets, if tagged correctly, BluOS sorts by Disc Number and then track number. The online metadata services BluOS polls all, unfortunately, include the added bonus of putting "... Disc 2", "...Disc 3", and on in the Album title so that methodology is moot as the Album names do not match. As a result, you will still have to trim the metadata. Your feedback however has been passed on to our Product Development Team when speaking with our metadata service providers.
