Preventing duplicates in playlists or allowing alphabetical sorting so easily seen for removal

I know this has been asked before, however the adding of duplicates to playlists is very frustrating. If this can’t be prevented (as other systems do) then at least the ability to sort the play queue alphabetically so that manual deletion can take place?
