non IOS controller lose connection to M10 player

I have two players: NAD M10 and NAD C700.  Connnection from IOS Controller app is stable.  But Windows controller app and Mac OSx app eventually lose connectivity with the NAD M10 and sometimes the C700 but usually the M10 (i use it more?). All players/apps are as up to date as possible, and I have rebooted multiple times.  Its telling that just the non-IOS controllers are the ones that lose connection.  Seems like the Windows/OSX controller apps have some buffer or queue issue that after reconnecting multiple time they just stop and need some maintenance
