We don't support direct integration with Primephonic but...

That being said, we are very aware of their offering and how much sense it makes to the Bluesound consumer. Normally this is the point where I would suggest Bluetooth from their App but appreciate this may not meet your audio standards. Headphone jack out to analog in would be a good interim solution at this point.

Primephonic has a really interesting search capability where they have added a lot of metadata to their classical listings.  Makes it easier to search for specific composers, etc.  We have begun talking to them.  Andrew

It would be helpful if we could be told what new services were going to be added to the Bluesound App and even *** shock *** horror ** you might solicit input from endusers and customers like us.

Bluesound really shines with Classical Music and there is just no service as good as Primephonic. I use Qobuz and am endlessly frustrated at the inane results thrown up by the search facility ..

Please give us classical users primephonic and stop treating us like second class citizens ...

    Hi Colin

We appreciate the quality and effort that Primephonic is putting into their meta data and product and we are planning to ensure that when we release it to BluOS that all classical customers will appreciate the full experience.

We are working on it... http://bluos.net/blog/2018/02/05/primephonic-to-be-made-available-on-bluos/

Now when? I’ve been hearing the same song and dance for well over a year about when Primephonic will be available.

The silence on the delays is really unforgivable. If there is some insurmountable technical problem then it would be basic PR to tell us the reasons. As this has been dragging on for almost two years I conclude you are either understaffed or cant be bothered with us tedious punters.

I am already looking around for alternatives to Bluesound ..

    Hi Jack and Colin

We are continuing to work with Primephonic. They are in the process of changing their integration plan to allow for third party Hi-Res streaming and have asked we use this newer API once it is released. Thanks for your continued patience.

Hi Folks, Primephonic as a start up has changed their plans multiple times and in ways that are focused on their main market launch.  They have has start up style challenges and are now finally getting themselves to a better place.  They report that a large number of BluOS enabled customers are asking for integration so they have a focus on getting us what we need, but all of that takes time.  We are ready for them when they send us what we need to develop.  Andrew

I'm very eager to get Primephonic integration with BluOS.  At present I use a connection from audio out on my computer to analog input on one of my four Bluesound players.  I get dropouts and stuttering which make for a frustrating listening experience. So  far my attempts to improve network performance haven't solved the issue.

Surely, For classic music lovers this is a must.

I have a serious hifi installation. Using bluetooth is not an option.

I am also very eager and waiting for Primephonic integration with Blue OS

So, what will be the planning ?

Hi, hope all are safe.  For Primephonic, a bit of a long story.  The short version is that we have been close before, but currently we do not have an updated sdk from them.  We believe that they have a good service, Idagio is also a good classical service.

I subscribed to Primephonic for several months but was frustrated that I could only choose music through my computer.  I had no interest in linking my cell phone as a workaround.  I found I seldom used Bluesound because it was so awkward.  Finally I got a trial subscription to Idagio and I'm very happy with the catalog, sound quality and the ability to control music selection and volume for four players through my phone.  I've been a paid subscriber for about a half year.

Glad you like Idagio, they are very good to work with, their development folks are quite responsive and their mgmt is open to adaptation.

Dale is  completely right. A cell phone is an awkward work around. Primephonic shall have tot put more effort to deliver a SDK. to companies like bluesound.

Only then we can enjoy classis music. I have tot try Idago.

I just switched from Primephonic to Idagio and let Primphonic know about it. I was surprised that they responded within a few hours. One think they said is that they hope to have Bluesound integration during 2020.

    Hi Emilio

Unfortunately, nothing to report at this time other than we continue to have great conversations with them. Please also reach out to them regarding your interest in having their service incorporated into Bluesound or BluOS Products.

Sad to hear it, Tony, but thanks for responding. I hope "great" will lead to "concrete." I did post a request to Primephonic as you suggested.
