Soundbar+ and PulseFlex2i Home
BeantwortetHello BlueSound team,
Devices:
TV: LG 65QNED869QA QNED MiniLED
BlueSound: Soundbar+ connected to TV via HDMI eARC
2x PulseFlex 2i grouped with Soundbar+
BluOS, MacOS Ventura, Android 13, iPadOS 16.2 -> always up to date
LAN Gigabit - FritzBox 6690
No matter what setting I make on all the Devices - The setting always resolves.
So it does not stay stable.
If it comes from the TV, then surely the HDMI connection would be faulty.
With different HDMI cables but the same problem
Scenario: I'm watching Prime Video (series).
Soundbar+ and Pulse Flex 2I are connected.
Listening mode movie
Surround upmixer and virtualizer activated.
Suddenly there is a "break" in the sound. It sounds like it is coming from 3 speakers. Slight offset. Slight echo
Open the app, then surround upmixer and virtualizer disabled. Problem fixed.
Episode 1 finished, and episode 2 starts.
The problem comes again. Surround upmixer and virtualizer activated. Problem solved again
Sometimes it is enough to activate/deactivate only one option.
It can also be, if you close Prime, and switch to a TV channel, the problem is also solved. Or even only then arises
I know, now comes the prompt to create a Home Theater Group.
But that can't be an option!
Because the app does not offer me the option to add also a stereo pair. Or to use individual speakers. So Soundbar+ solo, Pulse Flex2i solo, or as a stereo pair. I am forced to ungroup and set up again later.
It should be possible to configure several groups or single speakers, which can then be called up as required.
As at the moment, it makes in any case no joy
Best and stay safe

HI Michael
To properly investigate this issue, our Support Crew will need more information here.
In the BluOS App, please select Help, Send Support Request so our Support Crew can review the event logs of the Home Theatre Group. They will also need to know the make and model of your TV, if you are using the Amazon App native to the TV or through a streaming box like a Roku or AppleTV and what content you are watching when the TV changes the source audio.
Once you have provided that information, our Support Crew will reach out directly via email with advice and next steps.

Hello Tony,
I think there is a misunderstanding.
I have only tried the Home Theater Group once, briefly. It sounded fantastic.
BUT:
I did not find an option to create multiple groups (at the same time). So I can't switch between groups either. The menu or the app promises here more than it can.
Therefore, I have the Soundbar + the two PulseFlex2I simply used as a default group. And then I have the sound problems
I could then buy as many speakers until I have all the group configurations together ;-)
As in the picture, it should actually work, because the app does not remember my configuration. Even worse: I then have to set up the HomeTheater group completely new. That is not intelligent at all0 -
That is your problem.
If you want a Home Theatre Group, you must have a Home Theatre Group.
Bluesound Players cannot be in multiple groups at once otherwise during playback BluOS cannot determine if you want rear channel playback form the PULSE FLEXes in a movie or if you are playing music and want a full experience.
You will have to dis-assemble and recreate the fixed group.

I'm sorry, but I don't think that's my problem. The problem lies more with the manufacturer. He can't do it. 2Pulse FLEX in a group have nothing to do with return channel. Where is the HDMI connector on the Pulse Flex? No matter. I see already ... Hardware always top - Software flop
At least the wording in the app should be revised. My groups (plural) is only possible if I create this functionality with the purchase of new speakers.0 -
Sorry if you misunderstood - my intention was 'That is the root of your problem'. That being said, as mentioned, please select Help, Send Support Request if you are still having issues so our Support Crew can better help you wth troubleshooting the issue.
