Finding Specific (FLAC or MP3) version of albums
BeantwortetJust installed Node 2i, accessing my NAS music library. My library is organized into artist named folders. Within each folder is a FLAC and MP3 copy of each album. When searching for albums or artists thru BlueOS I find the album but the song list contains the FLAC and MP3 version of each song. If I wish to play the album obviously I do not want to play each song twice. How do I prevent that?

Many artists only have MP3 versions of the albums at this time, so can't move them.
I am a newbie and don't mean to sound stupid, but it is not obvious to me how to filter. Help?
Thanks

Indeed, filtering by Quality is limited and will not necessarily remove MP3 from the list. I have the options CD, Hi-Res and MQA, which will not separate MP3 from M4A files, both being at 44,1kHz
I have created an MP3 copy of all albums, store it elsewhere on my server and only keep MP3s in the indexed folder when another format is not available. Generally, I do change the title in the Metadata to « album (MP3) », so they are being treated as different albums. In case I forgot to move the files out of the shared folder they will show up as 2 different albums and can move them later on if I wish to do so.
I do keep MP3 files for syncing purposes with phone or car, and keep them separate from the Lossless files. Yes, this needs a bit of shifting files around sometimes, but it is well worth it.
You will need to play around a bit to create the structures you need for your purposes, maybe look for a music manager that best fits or even use different managers for the different purposes.
