Clipping prevention

Hi all,
Would like to know if some kind of clipping prevention exists on the Powernode?
Mine is currently connected to a Samsung LPS7T projector through HDMI and while everything is fine most of the time (not mentioning unclear/muffled voices I guess is due to lack of EQ on the Powernode), horrible loud and clipping noise occures occasionaly when switching app/channel on the projector (as if two sources or inputs where mixed) and I fear that have damaged my speakers. Is there any protection system in the Powernode to prevent this?

The pop you are hearing is content distortion caused by two factors;
- HDMI runs to projectors often exceed HDMI.org specifications so may require special cable consideration
- Source resolution changes such as DOLBY content on one channel and non-DOLBY on the next
I am escalating your issue to our Support Crew so they can make some recommendations for you.
