Bluos Controller doesn't work on Ipad Mini A1432

The latest update of the Controller does not work on my old Ipad Mini.  I've been told that Bluesound and Apple are working on a fix.  When do you expect a solution?  I can still control my Bluesound components by using my iphone and my computer, but I prefer to use the mini as my controller in the living room.

  The last OS that mini could run is 9.3.5 which is the real issue. That model is more than 10 years old and was listed as vintage more than 5 years ago.
