LOSS OF SOUND FROM ONE SPEAKER
BeantwortetHello
I have the same problem than the one i found in « Community/Sound Quality » from Andrew Taylor 2 years ago : CRACKLING SOUND AND LOSS OF SOUND FROM ONE SPEAKER
From time to time it happens with my NODE130 (bought in September 2021) connected via RCA to an Arcam amplifier, lost of sound of the right speaker only (the left one works well). When it happens i have played a CD from my CD player and both speakers work well, so i have concluded that it is not the ampilifier that is at fault but the NODE.
When rebooting the NODE (unplugging/plugging in) sometimes it works correctly again, but the loss of the right channel sound starts again after a few minutes.
Can you tell me how this problem was fixed
Thank you, regards

Thanks for your suggestion, so I switched the RCA cables at the output of the NODE and I had the problem again with the right speaker!!
It seems that it comes from the amplifier. It's quite difficult to explain because it works correctly with the CD, PHONO input, and i saw that other users have the same problem with the right channel and with different amplifiers!
I had connected the NODE to the TUNER input of the amplifier, I will try with another input for DVD/BlueRay. Anyway, thanks for your help, and don't hesitate to give me some hints on how to solve the problem if you have any.

Hi All. I recently started having the same problem, and, as is the hardest to resolve, the problem is intermittent.
System: Node 2i, Black Ice Audio Fusion 3502 S, Sony Bravia TV. Nothing else in the chain.
Here's what's happening...
1. Play Qobuz on the Node 2i into the Amp. Great. No problems (ever).
2. Time to watch the news. Switch inputs on the Node to my Sony Bravia TV (Toslink).
3. Not always, but often, only one of the speakers works. Most of the time, only the right channel works, sometimes the left, sometimes both. This started happening about a month ago.
4. Reboot (turn off/on standby) the amplifier. So far, I've not tried to reboot the Node, but will do so next time.
5. The problem goes away.
Any insight from the engineers would be greatly appreciated.
