Local shares will NOT recognize any of my music
BeantwortetThis is a nightmare. I cannot get any local shares to work. I have allowed all Music folders to be shared, I have put in my IP address in place of 'computer name', and have tried in every way possible, but there must be some hidden trick that I just can't find.
The player is seeing the network and can stream music and radio stations. All is good, but it refuses to see my HDD that contains all my music files. I have wasted tens of hours trying to get this to work... reading articles from above, calling (and leaving my name and phone number many times, but no one calls me back), and more. Ready to return this thing.
How is it possible that in 2022, this cannot recognize my music files? I just want it to play music, but it's been one of the most frustrating things I've ever encountered.
And the terms used are insane "No Local Shares"?? What does that even mean?
I go to browse for a folder, I get the folder into "Adjust Folder Permissions" click on Authenticate... and Nothing... spins "configuring"... then Not Complete. There is a problem adding this locale share. How messed up is this software??
