BACKUP PROGRESS STATUS (Time Remaining) BOX QUESTIONS
BeantwortetUsing Windows 10 with my desktop PC computer. Have Vault2. When I start a system backup a box pops up showing the progress - time remaining: Is there a reason why it does not "change" while the back up is being performed? Should it not show the time going in reverse and count down to "0:00:00"? It is working because I can see the back up drive light flashing.....just wondering why the system does not show the remaining time as it counts down?
Also what do the digits stand for 00:00:00? Right now my progress shows 60:47:00..(and has been like that for about one hour now...since I started the back-up....is it hours, minutes & seconds? If so I cannot believed the back up is going to take 60 hours; 47 minutes; 00 seconds.....Note: it has been about 4.5 months since I did my last back up....
Thanks
UPDATE: Just a few minutes ago the "status" light on my back-up drive has stopped flashing and is now "steady". That usually means the back-up process as been completed but the "status" box on the controller still shows the Back-Up in Progress and the time is still (60:47:00). Just wondering is anyone else has had this issue?
UPDATE #2: Just went to look at something in the Library and then went back the Settings page - Back-Up and now it shows the Back-Up Completed. Should it not have shown that in the "Status Bo" - when it was finished?
